We currently have 85 regular employees and are very much involved in the development of our own people. We have always taken on and trained our own apprentices.

Predominantly, Barrie Beard Ltd works in the commercial market, also having an on site small-works department to cater for local domestic contracts.  In addition to this we have a sales counter which serves independent contractors and the wider local community.

We strive to give the best possible service to our customers, delivering high quality work on time and at competitive prices, for which we have an excellent reputation.

Most of the contracts are of the Design & Build type. We are therefore responsible for all the design calculations, drawings and of course ‘As Installed’ drawings and O&M manuals.

We also carry out ongoing work for local Health Authorities, Worcestershire County Council, Bromsgrove District Council and numerous other clients with whom we have built up a working relationship over many years.

We are members of the NICEIC and always endeavour to maintain the highest possible standards. We are ISO9001registered and a CHAS Accredited Contractor.  We are MCS Approved Installers for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installations and have SMAS Worksafe contract of membership. We hold professional indemnity insurance of £5m and all other relevant insurances.
