We currently have over a hundred employees and are very much involved in the development of our own people. We have always taken on and trained our own apprentices.

The main business of Barrie Beard Ltd is in the commercial market. There is also a small works department which caters for all local domestic contracts and, in addition, there is a trade and retail supplies shop.

We strive to give the best possible service to our customers, delivering high quality work on time and on budget, for which we have an excellent reputation.

Most of the contracts are of the Design & Build type. We are therefore responsible for all the design calculations, drawings and of course ‘As Installed’ drawings and O&M manuals.

We also carry out ongoing work for local Health Authorities, Worcestershire County Council, Bromsgrove District Council and numerous other clients with whom we have built up a working relationship over many years.

As members of the NICEIC we are proud to have received ‘Grade One’ and always endeavour to maintain the highest standards possible. We are ISO 9001:2000 registered and also have professional indemnity insurance of £5m and all other relevant insurances.
